BMW and AirConsole Lead the Future of In-Car Gaming
Hot Wheels Xtreme Overdrive represents the next step in BMW’s and AirConsole’s partnership to redefine in-car entertainment. AirConsole, developed by Swiss company N-Dream, continues to expand its library of over 30 games across genres such as racing, sports, and arcade.
“With BMW and Mattel, we’re proving that the passenger experience can be as iconic as the drive itself,” said Anthony Cliquot, CEO of N-Dream. “Cars are evolving into entertainment hubs, and Hot Wheels Xtreme Overdrive is a perfect example of that shift.”
BMW drivers can easily access AirConsole via the infotainment system by scanning a QR code and connecting their smartphones. The platform is compatible with BMW and MINI vehicles running Operating System 8.5 and above, including the upcoming BMW iX3 with OS X.
As in-car gaming becomes a growing frontier in digital entertainment, Hot Wheels Xtreme Overdrive underscores how iconic brands like Mattel and BMW are merging play, technology, and mobility into one dynamic experience.
